In Further and Rarer, you make your way into the depths of a dungeon to defeat monsters and collect treasure, but you start the game in a town. While there is much to do in the town, if you wish to head right into the dungeon, head two screens to the east and one to the north where you will find a pit that leads you into the dungeon.

Once in the dungeon, you will be met with monsters, but you start the game with a sword. To attack enemies, stand next to them and use the dpad to attempt to move into their location. The game knows you can't move further so it switches your action to an attack! When you attack, enemies get a turn as well, and those next to you will attack. keep an eye on the bar in the top right, which is your HP. If it runs out, you will have to start a new run.
